Computer-modified original photograph as a Tribute to the outstanding Artist Zdzislaw Beksinski.

Beksinski, known for his unique style combining surrealism with elements of fantasy, created works that captivate with their depth and mystery.

To celebrate the 96th anniversary of Beksinski's birth, the talented and experienced Polish digital artist Adrian Purgal created a kind of Masterpiece in Tribute to the deceased Master Beksinski.
In this process, he used an original photograph of Zdzislaw Beksinski taken in 2004 in Warsaw.

To commemorate Beksinski's life and his tragic death, Purgal used brushes as symbols. All of them (24 in total), except for three, which suggest that just three days before his birthday, Beksinski was brutally murdered in his home.

These three brushes are set on fire - like candles.

In the background, a building resembling a castle rises. A lone wolf circles the landscape, and a flock of birds flies above.

However, Zdzislaw Beksinski - as in the photograph - biting one of his brushes - smiles.

About the technique

The technique used by Adrian Purgal was also widely used by Beksinski, who used scanned photographs and drawings in his works to create computer montages of varying quality and complexity.

Each purchased graphic is accompanied by a signed print of a photo taken in 2004 by Waldemar R. Plusa, who collaborated with Master Beksinski for the last three years before the Master's tragic death.
